Bridges, Everett Bridge, OH The Everett Road Covered Bridge was constructed in 1877 after a local resident was killed in a flood while attempting to cross Furnace Run, which runs under the bridge. The bridge was badly damaged in the Great Flood of 1913, and finally washed off its supports by storm waters in 1975. The Cuyahoga Valley National Park stored the bridge components and the bridge was faithfully restored in 1986. The bridge features a Smith truss, unusual in northeast Ohio.
