Bridges, Warner Hollow Bridge, OH
This splendid covered bridge, built in 1867, is located near the village of Windsor in Ashtabula County, the largest and most northeastern of Ohio’s 88 counties. The 121-foot bridge spans Phelps Creek, a tributary of the Grand River, on massive sandstone piers cut from local rock. The bridge has a Town lattice truss, a shingled roof, and attractive weathered wood siding. Its exceptionally scenic location makes it a popular subject for artists and photographers.
