Dragonflies, MALE LEAST CLUBTAIL, SWINE CREEK, OHIO The tiny Least Clubtail (Stylogomphus albistylus) is an inhabitant of cool, fast-flowing streams, where it perches on gravel and small rocks, often disappearing into thin air when approached, darting up into overhanging shrubs to escape intruders. Note the enlarged tip of the abdomen, the feature which gives the clubtails their name.
